- Check the following points.
Is your hand touching the head while you’re playing the rim?: if so, either only the head or the rim produces sound. - Is the threshold set too high?: if the crosstalk cancel threshold is set too high, the sound may drop out.
To adjust the threshold sensitivity, follows the steps shown below.
- Press “MENU” (F2 button).
- Use the [Λ] [V] buttons to select “Trigger,” and then press “SELECT” (F2 button).
- Use the [Λ] [V] buttons to select “Pad Setting,” and then press “SELECT” (F2 button).
- PAD SETTINGS screen appears. - Use the [Λ] [V] buttons to select “Threshold.”
- If the sound still drops out when you strike the pad softly, use the [+] [–] buttons to slightly lower this value.
- Repeat these steps until the setting is just right. - Press the F1 button several times or press the [TOMOE] button to return to the top screen.
