You can exchange MIDI data between this instrument and your computer to do the following.
- Use DAW software to create a MIDI recording of your performance on the TAIKO-1
- Play the sound module of the TAIKO-1 by transmitting MIDI note messages from your DAW software
- Transmit program change messages from your DAW software to change kits
