Aerophone: How Do I Clean and Care for This Instrument and the Mouthpiece?

Caring for this instrument

After playing, lean the instrument against a wall or other vertical surface so that any moisture inside can drain out of the water drain.

Note:

• The instrument cannot be washed with water.
• Attach the included water protector when playing. (AE-30, AE-20, AE-20W)

Maintaining the mouthpiece

Remove the mouthpiece from the instrument and wash it with water.

Note:

• The instrument itself cannot be washed with water.
• Do not sterilize the mouthpiece by boiling it or applying alcohol, as this may cause the mouthpiece to deform or degrade. If the mouthpiece is getting noticeably dirty, use a commercially available mouthpiece cleaner.
• When removing or attaching the mouthpiece, take care not to bend the bite bar. (AE-30, AE-20, AE-20W, AE-10/10G, AE-05)
