The following article troubleshoots if audio is dropping out when using the WL-30XLR.
- Scan for a Clean Frequency
Right before using the WL-30XLR, press the [SCAN] button on the receiver to enter scan mode to find a channel with the least radio interference. When scan is complete, the channel indicator shows the channel that was found. Match the WL-30XLR transmitter's channel to this number. - New Alkaline Batteries
Be sure that brand new Alkaline batteries are being used. Other battery types are not compatible (e.g. rechargeable, lithium, etc). - Identifying 2.4GHz Interference
The sound may drop out if one of the wireless devices or electronic appliances listed below is located nearby. Make sure that these devices or appliances are located at least 3 m away from the WL-30XLR.- Other transmitters and receivers
- Wi-Fi router
- Smart TV
- Mobile phone or computer
- Microwave
- Lighting fixture, etc.
- Shorten the Distance between the WL-30XLR Transmitter and Receiver
The transmitter and receiver can function well at a couple hundred feet away; the distance of travel is shorter if there are structures in the vicinity that impede the radio waves, or if there are many devices that use the 2.4 GHz band (e.g. cel phones, wireless routers, FOH mixing boards that wireless control, etc). In this case, it may be necessary to shorten the distance. - Be sure a dynamic microphone only is being used.
