If you are experiencing audio issues with the WL-30XLR, please check the following.
Common checks
- Channel setting: Make sure that the transmitter and receiver are on the same channel. Press the [CH] buttons on the transmitter and receiver to confirm the channel setting.
- Batteries: Use a brand new alkaline battery (AA, LR6). Other battery types such as rechargeable or lithium batteries may affect performance.
- Distance: The transmission range may vary depending on the environment. If the transmitter and receiver are far apart, move them closer together. Make sure there are no objects between them.
If you hear no sound
- Microphone compatibility: Use a dynamic microphone. Phantom-powered condenser mics and electret condenser mics are not supported.
- Volume: Check whether the volume is turned up on the amp or mixer. To test this, connect the microphone directly to the amp or mixer to confirm sound is heard.
If you hear pop sounds, noise, or audio dropouts
- Interference sources: Devices using the 2.4 GHz band may cause interference. Make sure the following devices are at least 3 m away from the WL-30XLR:
- Wi-Fi routers
- Smart TVs
- Mobile phones or computers
- Microwave ovens
- Other transmitters and receivers
- Lighting fixtures
- Select a different channel using scan mode:
- Power off the transmitter.
- Press the [SCAN] button on the receiver to enter scan mode.
When scan is complete, the channel indicator shows the channel that was found. - Power on the transmitter.
- Press the [CH] (◀ ▶) buttons on the transmitter to select the same channel as the receiver.
