Use the SONG EXPORT function to export the data recorded on this unit or on an SD card to an SD card.
Load the files saved on the SD card’s EXPORT folder into software on your audio player or computer that supports WAV format (44.1 kHz, 16-bit) for playback.
Follow the steps below.
- Insert an SD card that has been initialized (formatted) on the TD-50X.
- Press the [SONG] button.
- The SONG screen appears. - Press the [F3] (REC DATA) button.
- Turn the [R1] knob to select the recorded data.
- Press the [F4] (EXPORT) button to save the song.
- The SONG EXPORT screen appears. - Turn the [R1] knob to select the export type.

- SMF (DRUM ONLY) Exports the drum performance to SMF format.
- WAV (DRUM ONLY) Exports the drum performance to an audio file.
- WAV (DRUM+SONG) Exports the drum performance and song audio to an audio file.
- You can’t select for data that was recorded using the “DRUM only” setting. - ALL (WAV+SMF) Exports recordings of drum performances made using the “DRUM only” setting as an audio file and an SMF file.
- Exports recordings of drum performances made using the “with SONG” setting as an audio file and as an SMF file, and also exports the drum performance and song audio as an audio file.
- Press the [F4] (NAME) button to add a name to the file for export.
- Turn the [R2] or [R3] knobs to make the export setting (only when exporting an audio file).

- Export Gain: Adjust the audio file volume. Positive values increase the volume.
- Post Export Time: If the tail of the exported audio file gets cuts off, increasing this value may prevent this from happening.
- Press the [F5] (EXECUTE) button.
- A confirmation message appears.
- If you decide to cancel, select “CANCEL” and press the [ENTER] button. - Select “OK,” and press the [ENTER] button.
- The export begins.
- Exported data is saved in the “EXPORT” folder.
