On the Roland TD-27, if the click tempo value shows "MIDI" instead of a number and cannot be adjusted, the Sync Mode is set to "EXTERNAL." Change it to "INTERNAL" to restore tempo control.
- Press the [SYSTEM] button.
- Select "MIDI" and press the [ENTER] button.
- Press the [F3] (SYNC) button to open the SYNC tab.
- Turn the dial to set Sync Mode to "INTERNAL".
- Press [DRUM KIT] to return.
The setting saves automatically.
