The tones stored in the user memory of the JUNO-Di using the PATCH WRITE function are placed following the preset tones within the same category group. For example, a user tone saved in the PIANO category is placed after Pf128: EP Phase, which is the last preset tone in the PIANO category group.
NOTE: Sometimes, “tones” are referred to as “patches.” So, the indication “Patch” in a screen can be considered to mean “tone.” In the included “JUNO-Di Editor,” all settings related to tones are displayed as “Patch” settings.
Perform the following steps to recall a tone.
- Press the [PIANO] button.
- Press the [>] cursor button several times to select the first user tone.
- Use the dial to select the desired user tone.
The Performances stored in the user memory using the PERFORM WRITE function are placed following the 064:GM2 Template within the Performance category group.

- Press the [>] cursor button several times to select the first user patch.
