The A-49 supports four power sources. Refer to the table below for an overview, then follow the setup instructions for your chosen method.
Note: For all connection methods, use a USB cable that supports data transfer.

USB Bus Power from a Computer
The A-49 can be powered via USB from your computer.
- Press [FUNCTION] > [ADV] key > [+] to set USB mode to ADVANCED.
- Install the USB driver compatible with your computer's OS.

Note:
- Windows 10/11: The driver installs automatically when connected to an internet-connected computer.
- If you connect through a USB hub, ensure it is self-powered.
USB Bus Power from an iPad
The A-49 can be powered via USB from an iPad.
- Press [FUNCTION] > [ADV] key > [-] to set USB mode to GENERIC.
- Connect the A-49 to your iPad.
Note:
- Requires an Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit or Lightning – USB Camera Adapter and a self-powered USB hub.
- The first-generation iPad is not supported.

USB Bus Power from the INTEGRA-7 / USB AC Adapter (System Program Ver. 1.30 or later)
The A-49 can be powered from the INTEGRA-7's front USB port or a commercially available USB AC adapter.
Press and hold [FUNCTION], [PITCH], and [ASSIGN] simultaneously while connecting the USB cable to the INTEGRA-7 or USB AC adapter.
Note:
- MIDI communication via USB is not available. To send A-49 performance data to the INTEGRA-7, use a MIDI cable.
- If your A-49 is running a system program version earlier than Ver. 1.20, contact our support team regarding system program updates before using the INTEGRA-7 to supply power.
