This article guides you through the process of creating a keyboard split on the AX-Edge. The upper tones are triggered on the right side of the keyboard, while the lower tones are triggered on the left side.
The following describes how to set up using the dedicated application “AX-Edge Editor”.
- Follow the instructions in "AX-Edge Editor Quick Start #07 'Connecting to AX-Edge Editor' Roland AX-Edge #07" to establish a Bluetooth connection between the AX-Edge main unit and the device where the AX-Edge Editor is installed.
- Tap "EDITOR".
- Tap "SWITCH".
- Turn on the keyboard switch for the part you want to use, and turn off the keyboard switch for the part you do not want to use.
- Tap “PART.”
- Select a tone for each part.
- Tap “>” to move to “KEYBOARD”.
- Specifies the key range for each part; the lower limit (Key Rng Low) and upper limit (Key Rng Upp) as needed.
- Tap the “Write” button.
- When the confirmation message appears, execute.
The selected programs are written to the AX-Edge.
