If your SPD::ONE WAV PAD (SPD-1W) is no longer recognized after being disconnected from a computer, the connection may not have been properly ended before the USB cable was unplugged.
If this occurs, initialize the internal memory by following the procedure below.
Important: Initializing the internal memory will erase any audio files that have been imported into the SPD-1W. Be sure to back up any important data before proceeding.
To initialize the internal memory:
- Turn the power off.
- Set the controls as follows:
- WAVE knob: 7
- [PHONES] knob: MIN
- [MIX] knob: MAX
- [MASTER] knob: MIN
- [SENS] knob: MIN
- [THRES] knob: MIN - While holding down the [ALL SOUND OFF] button, turn the power on.
- When the TRIG LED begins flashing repeatedly, release the [ALL SOUND OFF] button.
- Press the [ALL SOUND OFF] button.
- When the TRIG LED indicates that initialization has finished, turn the power off.
- Download SPD::ONE WAV PAD Preloaded Sounds Ver.1.00 and reload it to the SPD-1W. For details, refer to the Downloads page. https://www.roland.com/global/support/by_product/spd_one_wav_pad/updates_drivers/
