Yes, you can connect the BRIDGE CAST X to your computer’s USB Type-A port. Please check the following points before doing so:
Power supply:
Use the included USB cable labeled “POWER” (USB Type-C to USB Type-C) and connect it to a USB PD-compatible AC adaptor (5 V/3 A or 9 V/3 A).
Note: Since a USB Type-A port cannot provide sufficient power, the BRIDGE CAST X will not turn on.
Connection method:
Connect the USB STREAM port (USB Type-C) on the BRIDGE CAST X to your computer’s USB Type-A port (USB 3.0) using a commercially available USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable that supports USB 3.0.
