This may be because the VG-800 is set to Multi Mode or TT Mode. The tuner behaves differently depending on the selected mode.
- Multi Mode: The tuner does not respond to signals from the GUITAR INPUT jack.
- Single Mode: The tuner can tune the signal from the GUITAR INPUT jack only when there is no signal from a GK input.
- TT Mode/True Temperament Mode: For tuning guitars/bass guitars that use true temperament.
How to switch between Multi Mode, Single Mode, and TT Mode
- Press the [MENU] button.
- Press the [◀] [▶] buttons to display “TUNER.”
- Press the [5] knob.
The tuner screen appears.
You can use the [◀] [▶] buttons to switch between the desired tuner mode. - When finished, press the [EXIT] button to return to the main screen. The selected mode is saved automatically.
