TD-07DMK: Adjusting Rim Trigger Response on the Snare Pad

On the TD-07, you can adjust the rim trigger response on the snare pad using the RimGain and H/R Adjust parameters.

RimGain adjusts the balance between the force of striking the rim and the loudness of the sound. H/R Adjust sets how easy it is to trigger the head or rim. Increasing or decreasing the value slightly while playing the pad allows you to fine-tune the response. A higher H/R Adjust value will reduce the triggering response from the rim.

1. On the TD-07, press the [] (SETUP) button.
2. Use the [◀] [▶] buttons to select "PAD", and press the [] (ENTER) button.
3. Use the [◀] [▶] buttons "ADVANCED", and press the [] (ENTER) button.
4. Use the [◀] [▶] buttons to select "RimGain" and/or "H/R Adjust".
5. Strike the snare pad to select it.
6. While playing the snare pad, turn the main dial to adjust the value until the desired trigger response is achieved.
7. Press the [] (DRUM KIT) button to return to the DRUM KIT screen.
   The new settings are saved automatically.
