TD-07DMK: Adjusting XtlkCancel to Fix Crosstalk Between Pads

On the TD-07, crosstalk occurs when striking one pad unintentionally triggers another. For example, hitting a tom pad may cause a nearby cymbal pad to sound due to vibrations traveling through the rack. To fix this, adjust the XtlkCancel parameter on the pad that is being triggered unintentionally.

1. On the TD-07, press the [] (Setup) button.
2. Use the [◀] [▶] buttons to select “PAD”, and press the [] (ENTER) button.
   The PAD screen appears.
3. Strike the pad that is being triggered unintentionally.
4. Use the [◀] [▶] buttons to select “ADVANCED”, and press the  [] (ENTER) button.
5. Use the [◀] [▶] buttons to select “XtlkCancel”.
6. Turn the main dial to increase the value (0–80) until crosstalk no longer occurs.
   Note: If the XtlkCancel value is set too high, the pad may not respond when struck at the same time as an adjacent pad.
7. Press the [] (DRUM KIT) button to return to the DRUM KIT screen.
   The new setting is saved automatically.
