Yes, the TD-17 supports both Bluetooth Audio and Bluetooth MIDI. Each function works as follows.
Bluetooth Audio:
Audio played on your mobile device can be received by the TD-17 and mixed with the drum sounds during performance. This is one-way communication from your mobile device to the TD-17.
Bluetooth MIDI:
MIDI data can be sent and received between the TD-17 and your mobile device. This allows you to record your performance into a DAW app on your mobile device.
Note: Bluetooth MIDI may introduce latency. Check your DAW app settings to compensate for any timing delays.
Note: Bluetooth functionality is not supported on the TD-17K-L, TD-17K-L-S, or TD-17KV-L.
