In the JUNO-D, each Patch is made up of two Tones: an Upper Tone and a Lower Tone.
When you press the [KEY MODE] button to turn SPLIT on, the keyboard is split at the Split Point (A0–C8), allowing the Upper and Lower Tones to sound in separate key ranges.
At this point, not only the Tone type, but also the pitch of each Tone can be set individually.
Follow the steps below to adjust the pitch in octave units.
- Select the Patch you want to edit.
- Press the [PARAM] button.
- Press the PAGE CURSOR [◀] [▶] buttons to display the PATCH TONE | Coarse Tune: screen.
- Press the DESTINATION TONE button to select the Tone (UPPER/LOWER) whose pitch you want to change.
- Use the VALUE [-] [+] buttons to set the pitch.
Range: -48 to +48 (in semitones; ±12 = one octave) - To save the settings, press the [WRITE] button.
- Use the VALUE [-] [+] buttons to select the destination Patch number, then press the [ENTER] button.
- Use the VALUE [-] [+] buttons to select the destination Category, then press the [ENTER] button again.
The Patch will be saved.
