The embouchure and breathing technique differ between Aerophone Brisa and acoustic flute. Aerophone Brisa makes it easy to produce sound by blowing into the holes, which is why even beginners with no experience on the acoustic flute can start playing right away.
When playing the Aerophone Brisa, please follow these steps:
- Hold the Aerophone Brisa as shown in the image below.
- Place your lips on the lip plate and blow air into the holes.
Note: When using fingering modes other than Flute, you can play whether you blow into either one of the holes or both holes at the same time. In Flute fingering, the octave changes depending on whether you blow into both holes or only the upper hole. For details, see the “Flute fingering” section in the Aerophone Brisa Fingering Chart.
If you find it difficult to blow air into the instrument, adjust the angle of the headjoint. See "Adjusting the angle of the head joint" in the Aerophone Brisa Quick Start.
