Yes. The XPS-10X can import individual tone files (.svz) and scene files (.svd) created on the XPS-60. In the same way, tone and scene files created on the XPS-10X can also be imported into the XPS-60.
Note: Backup files cannot be imported.
The following explains how to import tones and scenes exported from the XPS-60 into the XPS-10X as an example.
Exporting tones on the XPS-60
- Insert a USB flash drive.
Please use a USB flash drive (32 GB or less) that has been formatted on the XPS-60. - Press the [MENU] button.
The MENU screen appears. - Move the cursor to "UTILITY", and press the [ENTER] button.
- Move the cursor to “EXPORT TONE” and press the [ENTER] button.
If you want to export a scene (or scenes), select “EXPORT SCENE” here. - Make sure that the tone names you want to export are selected with a check mark, and press the [ENTER] button.
- Input the name of the SVZ file to export, and press the [ENTER] button.
A confirmation message appears.
If you decide to cancel, press the [EXIT] button. - Move the cursor to “OK” and press the [ENTER] button.
The display shows “Export Tone Completed!” when exporting is done.
Importing XPS-60 tones into the XPS-10X
- Insert the USB flash drive that contains the tones exported from the XPS-60.
- Press the [MENU] button.
The MENU screen appears. - Move the cursor to "UTILITY", and press the [ENTER] button.
- Move the cursor to “IMPORT TONE” and press the [ENTER] button.
If you want to import a scene (or scenes), select “IMPORT SCENE” here. - Move the cursor to the SVZ file you want to import, and press the [ENTER] button.
- Make sure that the tone names you want to import are selected with a check mark, and press the [ENTER] button.
- Make sure that the tone numbers in the import destination are selected with a check mark, and press the [ENTER] button.
A confirmation message appears.
If you decide to cancel, press the [EXIT] button. - Move the cursor to “OK” and press the [ENTER] button.
The display shows “Import Tone Completed!” when importing is done.
