The Aerophone Brisa may fail to connect to the Aerophone Brisa Plus app (iOS/Android) when it is automatically connected to another device that was previously paired.
Note: If you are using an Android device, make sure that the Location setting on your mobile device is turned on, since Bluetooth connections may not function properly when Location is disabled.
If you use the Aerophone Brisa Plus app on multiple mobile devices, check whether another previously paired device is nearby. Disconnect or delete the pairing registration before reconnecting the Aerophone Brisa to your preferred device.
How to reset the Bluetooth connection
On the Aerophone Brisa
- Press the [MENU] button.
The menu screen appears. - Use the [<] [>] buttons to select "Pro Menu", and press the [MENU] button.
- Use the [<] [>] buttons to select "Initialize", and press the [MENU] button.
- Use the [<] [>] buttons to select "Bluetooth", and press the [MENU] button.
- Press the [>] button to select "Yes".
The Bluetooth connection status will be reset. - Turn the power off and then on again.
If initializing the Bluetooth connection on the Aerophone Brisa does not resolve the issue, delete the pairing information for the Aerophone Brisa on your mobile device.
iOS:
Refer to the "Unpair a Bluetooth accessory" in this article on the Apple support website.
Android:
- Tap Settings > Connected devices.
- If Aerophone Brisa appears, tap the gear icon on the right.
- Tap "Forget" .
Note: Steps may vary depending on your device model or Android OS version.
Then, turn the Bluetooth switch on your mobile device off and back on, open the Aerophone Brisa Plus app on the mobile device you want to use, and reconnect the Aerophone Brisa. For detailed instructions, refer to "Connecting to the Aerophone Brisa" in the Aerophone Brisa Plus Owner's Manual.
