When the Aerophone Brisa is connected to a Windows computer via USB and you try to record your performance in DAW software, you may not be able to get any sound input even though “Aerophone Brisa” is selected as the input device in the DAW settings.
Depending on your Windows environment, this issue may be caused by the audio enhancements feature, especially when Noise Suppression is enabled, which can mistakenly remove the instrument sound from the input signal.
Follow the steps below to check your settings:
Click Start > Settings > System > Sound, and then under Advanced, select More sound settings to open the Sound control panel.
(Optional) Press Windows + R, type mmsys.cpl, and then click OK.
In the Recording tab, double-click AE-BRISA to open the Properties window.
- Click the Advanced tab.
If Enable audio enhancements is checked, clear the checkbox.
- Click Apply > OK > OK to close all dialog boxes.
