This issue is resolved in V31 System Program Version 2.10 or later. To resolve this issue, update the V31 System Program to the latest version. If you continue using a version earlier than 2.10, try the workaround described below.

Wi-Fi status does not change from “Connecting…” to “Connected.”
Temporary Solution
By reducing the total number of Instrument Expansions and Kit Packs stored in the rack to 21 to 23 or less, you can connect to the Roland Cloud via Wi-Fi. As a temporary solution until a permanent fix is released, please try the following:
Note: The maximum number of Instrument Expansions and Kit Packs that can be stored in the rack may vary depending on how you’re using the V31.
Uninstall the Instrument Expansions and Kit Packs from the Rack
- Press the [EXPANSION] button on the V31.
- Press [F2] (RACK).
- Use the cursor buttons to select the Instrument Expansion or Kit Pack you want to uninstall.
- Press [F5] (UNINSTALL). A confirmation window will appear.
- Select “OK” and press [ENTER].
The selected Instrument Expansion or Kit Pack will be uninstalled from the rack. - Repeat steps 3 to 5 until the total number of Instrument Expansions and Kit Packs stored in the rack is 21 to 23 or less.
Reconnect to Wi-Fi
Note: The V31 does not support 5 GHz Wi‑Fi networks. When connecting to Wi‑Fi, use a 2.4 GHz network.
- Press the [MENU] button on the V31.
- Select “SYSTEM” → “Wi-Fi” and press the [ENTER] button.
- Press [F6] (Wi-Fi) to turn Wi-Fi off.
- Press the [F6] (Wi-Fi) button again to turn Wi-Fi on.
When connected, the status will change from “Connecting…” to “Connected.”
