The V51 supports a range of pads that can be confirmed using the following methods. Use these methods if you are replacing the sound module of an existing drum kit with the V51, or if you want to use existing pads with the V51.
a. Checking by Drum Kit Name
If you have a drum kit from an earlier model, confirm which pads are supported by checking the drum kit name.
- Press the [SETUP] button.
- Use the cursor buttons to select “TRIGGER”, and press the [ENTER] button.
- Press the [F1] (BANK) button.
The TRIGGER - BANK screen appears. -
With Bank No. highlighted, press the [ENTER] button.
The list of Banks appears.All pads included in the following drum kits are supported by the V51:
VAD516, TD516, TD513, VQD106, VAD507/506/504/503, TD-27KV2, TD-27K, TD-25KVX, TD-25KV, TD-25K, TD-50K2, TD-30K - To check individual pads, use the cursor buttons to select the trigger input and press the [ENTER] button to display the Trig Type list.
b. Checking by Trig Type List
- Download the "V51 Data List".
- On the Trig Type list page, check whether the pad you want to use is listed as supported.
