Roland Cloud offers an ongoing stream of premium sound contents, including Instrument Expansions such as renowned drum kit sounds from Drum Workshop, Inc.(DW), sounds from past flagship V-Drums modules, and sounds that were created in collaboration with other artists and more.
To use Roland Cloud content on your V31, you have two options:
- Subscribe to a membership (using the Roland Cloud Connect app for iOS/Android)
- Purchase a license (Lifetime Key) through Roland Cloud Manager on Windows/macOS

**To import content downloaded using the Roland Cloud Manager App into the V31, an SD card (SDHC cards with up to 32 GB capacity) is required. The SD card must be formatted in the V31 ([MENU] > BACKUP > FORMAT) prior to using it for the first time.
