If you’ve connected an effect unit and the guitar sound is distorting, check the following.
Connect your effect unit to the INSTRUMENT jack.
When connecting an electric guitar (or bass guitar) with an active pickup, use the [PAD GUITAR/BASS] switch to reduce the input signal and lower the amount of distortion.
