How to PlugOut the System-8
Make sure that all your plug-ins are the current versions, that you have the current driver for the System-8 and that your System-8 is directly connected to the USB port on your computer. Then try this:
- Click the SETTING button in the System-8 UI window.
- Choose "SYSTEM-8 CTRL" for both MIDI CTRL Input and Output.
- This needs to be done for each plug-out enabled instrument.
- SYSTEM-8 CTRL port (is dedicated to PLUG-OUT control) must be disabled on your DAW MIDI settings. It's mentioned in the PDF manual (page 9).
How to send and receive patches (Memories)
You'll send patches back and forth between your System-8 and your computer, via USB.
