DR-3: How Do I Mute the Bass or Drum Part?

On the DR-3, you can mute the bass or drum part using either of the following methods.

To output only the bass or drum part:

Use the SYSTEM Output setting to select which part is output from the OUTPUT jacks.

1. With the performance stopped, press [EDIT], and then select SYSTEM > Output.
2. Turn the VALUE dial to select one of the following settings:
   • DRUM: Mutes the bass part and outputs only the drum part.
   • BASS: Mutes the drum part and outputs only the bass part.
3. Press [EXIT] repeatedly to exit Edit mode.

To mute the bass or drum part during Style playback:

1. Select the User Style you want to edit.
2. With the performance stopped, press [EDIT], and then select STYLE > Mute.
3. Turn the VALUE dial to select one of the following settings:
   • Drums: Mutes the bass part and plays only the drum part.
   • Bass: Mutes the drum part and plays only the bass part.
4. Press [EXIT] to apply the setting.
5. During Style playback, press VARIATION [MUTE].
6. To turn off the mute function, press VARIATION [MUTE] again.
