RC-1: Why is the recorded phrase deleted after I stop recording?

On the RC-1 Loop Station, the recorded phrase can be deleted when stopping, depending on the stop mode setting.

If the stop mode is set to the state where the green LOOP indicator lights on the lower half, the phrase will continue playing until the end and then be deleted when playback stops.

To change the stop mode, follow these steps:

1. While holding down the pedal switch, insert a plug into the OUTPUT A jack to turn on the power.
   The LOOP indicator (red) lights, indicating the current recording mode.
2. Press the pedal switch to display the stop mode.
3. If the lower half of the LOOP indicator (green) is lit, press the pedal switch twice in succession (within one second) to change the stop mode.
4. Turn the power off and on again.
