RC-505: What kind of microphone can I use?

You can use either a dynamic mic or a phantom-powered condenser mic with the RC-505.
-Electret condenser microphones (plug-in power system) cannot be used.

If you’re using a condenser mic that requires phantom power, turn phantom power on as described below:

1. Press the [SYSTEM] button.
2. Use the cursor [>] button to select “PhantomPower.”
3. Turn the [MEMORY/VALUE] knob to select “ON.”
4. Press the [EXIT] button to return to the play screen.
   *Always turn the phantom power off when connecting any device other than condenser microphones that require phantom power.
