Concerns about the warning label referring to Proposition 65 on your Roland Product.
Proposition 65 is not a chemical prohibition law, but rather a “right-to-know” law which requires manufacturers to clearly state if a product includes any substance that is contained on a list of over 900 chemicals above a certain “safe harbour” level. The list is broad, subject to change, and contains substances that have been deemed safe by the FDA and/or EPA.
Any chemicals which may feature on the Proposition 65 list that can be found in our products, are strictly controlled by the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) regulations in Europe. This means all Roland products are RoHS compliant and can, therefore, be safely used.
