As the Jupiter-X and the Jupiter-Xm share drivers for both Windows and Mac OS, it can be quite easy to assume that they use the same program software. However, this isn't actually the case and each product uses its own dedicated system software.
In some instances, users have been unable to update their Jupiter-X or Jupiter-Xm because they have mistakenly downloaded the wrong update file.
Rather than go through the process again, there's a quick way to check that you have downloaded the correct file. The two different downloads have very different file names.
Jupiter-X - MI077_UPA.bin
Jupiter-Xm - KY023_UPA.bin
When copying the update files into the root directory of your USB Memory, please ensure you are using the correct file name for your product.
