You can use one of the two ways shown below to play along with backing music.
Using the AUX IN jack (stereo miniature phone type)
For the backing music input, connect the audio player to the AUX IN jack with a commercially available stereo miniature phone type cable.
Using the USB audio interface functionality
This is how to input the backing music that’s playing back on your computer into the IR-200.
For Windows and macOS
- Press the [MENU] button.
- Turn the [MEMORY] knob to switch the page, and push the knob below the “SYSTEM” indication on the screen.
- Turn the [MEMORY] knob to switch the page, and push the knob below the “USB” indication on the screen.
- Turn the [AMP] (MODE) knob to select “VENDOR.”
- Install the IR-200 USB driver.

For iOS
- Press the [MENU] button.
- Turn the [MEMORY] knob to switch the page, and push the knob below the “SYSTEM” indication on the screen.
- Turn the [MEMORY] knob to switch the page, and push the knob below the “USB” indication on the screen.
- Turn the [AMP] (MODE) knob to select “GENERIC.”
- Use one of the commercially available cables shown below to connect the IR-200 to your iOS device.
