A saxophone has 21 performance keys, meaning there are more than 2 million combinations in which you can press or play the keys. In addition to standard fingering, there are many alternate fingering techniques. The Aerophone mini AE-01 and Aerophone GO AE-05 can store 6 different alternative fingering layouts.
Use the following procedure to edit factory fingerings or create your own from scratch.
- Select "Fingering Mode" from the main menu on the Aerophone Go app.

- Select the fingering mode you want to edit, for example "TRUMPET".

Select "Editing the Fingering 01" to change the fingering of a note. To start from scratch, touch "Reset" at the bottom of the screen.
Touch each key on the screen to set the desired fingering for the chosen note. Keys shown in orange indicate the selected fingering.

- Under "KEY", select the pitch you want the Aerophone to sound for that fingering. In the example above, C4 is assigned to the top three keys.
- Touch "WRITE" to save.
- Make sure each assigned note is set to "ON".
If a note is not set to "ON", the default fingering will be used.
- Touch "OK" to return to the main menu.
