The RC-505mkII features a bounce recording function that lets you mix the playback sound from a different track into the track you are recording or overdubbing.
- Press the [LOOP] button.
The LOOP screen appears. - Use the [1] (TRACK) knob to select the record destination track, and then press the [1] (TRACK) knob.
- Use the [◀] [▶] buttons to switch to the page containing “BOUNCE IN.”
- Turn (or press) the [4] (BOUNCE IN) knob to set “BOUNCE IN” to “ON.”
- Press the [EXIT] button.
- Press the [2] (REC) knob.
- Press the [▶] button to switch to the page containing “BOUNCE SW,” and turn (or press) the [1] (BOUNCE SW) knob to set it to “ON.”
- Use the [3] (BOUNCE TRACK) knob to select the track to use as the bounce source.
- Press the [3] (BOUNCE TRACK) knob to switch it “ON”.
- Press the [EXIT] button a number of times to return to the play screen.
- If you want to save the edited settings, execute the Write operation.
