On a Mac where the macOS compatible driver listed below is installed, the A-49 is recognized when a MIDI application becomes active.
Applicable macOS Versions
- macOS 11 Big Sur
- macOS 12 Monterey
- macOS 13 Ventura
- macOS 14 Sonoma
- macOS 15 Sequoia
What to Check
- Launch Audio MIDI Setup and open MIDI Studio, or start a MIDI application.
- Confirm that the A-49 is recognized as a USB MIDI device.
If Recognition Does Not Improve
If the A-49 is still not recognized, check the following points:
- Confirm that a USB cable that supports data transfer is being used
- Reinstall the driver
- Connect the A-49 to a different USB port on the computer. Connecting directly to a USB port on the computer is recommended instead of using a USB hub.
