The Aerophone AE-20/AE-20W can play an external MIDI sound module via USB. The MIDI channels of the AE-20/AE-20W and the external MIDI sound module must match. The transmit channel can be set on the AE-20/AE-20W using the Aerophone Pro Editor, or on the DAW or external MIDI sound module side.
Note: USB connection requires DAW software or a software synthesizer. Some latency may occur.
- Connect the AE-20/AE-20W to a computer using the included USB cable (Type-C to Type-A).
- Launch Aerophone Pro Editor and connect to the Aerophone AE-20/AE-20W.
For connection details, see "Connecting with the Aerophone" in the Aerophone Pro Editor Owner's Manual. - Tap [EDITOR] at the bottom of the screen.
Note: If the target scene is not shown at the upper left, select it on the AE-20/AE-20W or tap the scene name in Aerophone Pro Editor and select from the list. - Tap [MIDI OUT], then tap [CONTROL].
- Tap the value for [TX Channel] and specify the transmit channel.
- Tap [WRITE] to save, then confirm the destination scene and tap [OK].
