After connecting your PDA-140F to your Roland sound module, you may find that the recommended Trigger settings may differ slightly from one module to another.
Roland V-Drums modules that should have their Trigger Type set as "PDX-8" for the input that you have the PDA-140F connected to include;
TD-50
TD-30
TD-25
TD-17
TD-15
TD-11
An exception to this is the TD-27 and TD-50X, which have a dedicated PDA-140F Trigger Type to choose from within their Trigger Bank menus.
For Percussion and Hybrid drum products, the following should also have their Trigger Type set to "PDX-8" for the input that you have the PDA-140F connected to.
HPD-20
SPD-30
SPD-SX
SPD-SX PRO
TM-2
TM-6 PRO
Each sound module, percussion, or hybrid drum module has their own recommended parameters for Sensitivity, Rim Gain, Head/Rim Adjust, Scan Time, and Retrigger Cancel. *
Within the OCTAPAD SPD-30 and SPD-SX, the Head/Rim Adjust parameter is referred to as "Rim Adjust."
