Below are the Steps to reset the MD-200 back to its factory-set state.
Note: Performing a Factory Reset will permanently erase all user/custom memory locations and settings. Be sure to write down any custom settings you wish to keep prior to performing the reset. The current installed firmware version will not be affected by the reset procedure. If you have recently performed a version update in the MD-200, it's recommended to perform a Factory Reset immediately after the firmware update process.
- Begin with the MD-200 powered off.
- While holding down the [ON/OFF] switch and [MEMORY/TAP] switch, turn on the power (insert a plug into the INPUT A/MONO jack).
The display indicates “FCt” = Factory Reset - Press the [MEMORY/TAP] switch.
The display indicates “Sur” = Sure
If you decide to cancel, press the [MEMORY] button. - Press the [MEMORY/TAP] switch.
The factory reset is executed. - When the display indicates “FIn,” turn the power off and on again.
The Factory Reset is complete.
