The TD-17's Bluetooth feature allows you to record MIDI data wirelessly from the TD-17 to compatible music software, or DAW such as Garageband. Here's how setup the TD-17 so you can record MIDI to your Bluetooth compatible DAW:
- Turn on the Bluetooth functionality of your smart device (e.g. iPad).
- Open your DAW app and access the settings menu.
- Choose Bluetooth MIDI Devices (this may be under ADVANCED settings).
- Confirm the Bluetooth switch is set to ON in the TD-17 - (SETUP > ENTER > F3[ON]).
- Select "TD-17 MIDI" in your App's settings and establish the Bluetooth connection.
Note - The above process is based off of Garageband settings in iOS. For details on how to access the above settings in your music app, please refer to the app's own User Manual.
