The RC-500 lets you route track playback and input sounds to OUTPUT A, OUTPUT B, or both, using two separate settings.
Routing inputs (MIC IN, INST IN, RHYTHM)
- Press the [INPUT] button.
The editing screen for input/output settings appears. Turn the [MEMORY/VALUE] knob to select MIC IN, INST IN, or RHYTHM, and press the knob to set the output destination.
- MIC IN: the output destination of the mic connected to the MIC IN jack
- INST IN: the output destination of the guitar or instrument connected to the INST IN (A/MONO, B) jacks
- RHYTHM: the output destination of the built-in rhythm
These are system settings, so no write operation is needed to save them.
Routing tracks 1 and 2
- Select the memory you want to edit, and press the TRACK 1 or TRACK 2 [EDIT] button.
- Turn the [MEMORY/VALUE] knob to select OUTPUT, and press the [MEMORY/VALUE] knob.
Note: INPUT appears before OUTPUT in this list; leave INPUT set to ALL unless you want to change which input is recorded to the track. - Select ALL to send the track to both OUTPUT A and B, or OUT-A / OUT-B to send it to one output only.
- To set the other track, press its [EDIT] button and repeat steps 2-3.
Track settings are saved per memory. To keep this setting, save the memory.
