GX-100: Using DAW software to record the guitar sound with effects

The BOSS GX-100 can be connected to a computer via USB to record the effected guitar sound directly into DAW software.

Note: Install the USB driver before connecting the GX-100 to a computer. Refer to "Connecting to a Computer" in the GX-100 Reference Manual for details.

1. Connect the GX-100 to the computer via USB cable.
2. In the DAW software, set the input of the recording track to "GX-100 MAIN (1L, 2R, or 1L+2R)".
   Refer to the DAW software's manual for how to switch the input source.
3. Press the [MENU] button.
   
4. Touch <USB>.
   
5. Adjust EFX OUT LEVEL (range: 0–200%) to set the output level of the effected sound sent to the computer.
6. Start recording in the DAW software.
