Here’s how all settings stored on the FANTOM-0 can be saved to a USB flash drive (backed up), or written back into internal memory (restored).
- Use a commercially available USB flash drive (up to 32 GB).
Please note that compatibility with all USB flash drives is not guaranteed. - Use a USB flash drive that you’ve already formatted on the FANTOM-0.
[MENU] > UTILITY > USB MEMORY FORMAT
Follow the steps below.
If you back up using the same file name as backup data that already exists on the USB flash drive, the existing data will be overwritten. Assign a different name if you want to make a new backup.
- Press the [MENU] button.
- The MENU screen appears. - Touch <UTILITY>.
- The UTILITY screen appears. - Touch <BACKUP>.
- If you want to rename the backup file, touch <RENAME> and assign a name.
- After editing the name, touch <OK> to close the window. - Touch <OK>.
- A confirmation message appears.
- To cancel, touch <CANCEL>. - To execute, touch <OK>.
- Never turn off this instrument or pull out the external media while loading or saving data.
