When using the FANTOM-0 with the factory-default settings, the audio from zones whose output destination is set to “SUB OUT” is not output to the PHONES jack.
- Depending on the send level of the signal going to CHORUS or REVERB, you can still hear the sound from the PHONES jack even when the output destination is set to “SUB OUT”.
You can listen to the sound from a pair of headphones connected to the PHONES jack if you change the “SUB” output destination (located in the <OUTPUT> tab on the EFFECTS EDIT screen) to “MAIN OUT”, while still using the “SUB OUT” setting for the zone or USB audio output destination.
Follow the steps below.
- Press the [MENU] button.
- The MENU screen appears. - Touch <EFFECTS EDIT>.
- The EFFECTS EDIT screen appears. - Use the ZONE SELECT button to select the zone.
- Touch the OUTPUT tab.
- Touch SUB Output Assign.
- Use the [E4] knob to change the setting to “MAIN”.
- The sound can now be heard from the PHONES jack.
Outputting the audio signal input from the USB COMPUTER port to the PHONES jack
The “USB SUB” output destination is permanently set to the SUB OUT jacks. To output the USB audio input that’s set in “USB SUB” to the PHONES jack, temporarily change the USB audio output destination in your computer’s settings to “USB MASTER”.
From the <USB> tab in the EFFECTS EDIT screen, check whether the “USB Audio Input Destination” in “USB MASTER” is set to “MASTER”.
