FANTOM-06, FANTOM-07, FANTOM-08: What devices can I connect to the USB EXT DEVICE port?

You can connect a Roland A-49 or A-PRO series device to the USB EXT DEVICE port of the FANTOM-06, FANTOM-07, and FANTOM-08. The zone that corresponds to the MIDI channel that’s set on the connected device produces sound.

Please switch the USB driver mode of the A-49/A-PRO to “GENERIC” before connecting it to the FANTOM-0.

A-49

1. Press the [FUNCTION] button.
   
2. Press the key that has “ADV” printed above it.
   
3. Press the [-] button to select "GENERIC".

A-PRO (A-300PRO, A-500PRO, A-800PRO)

1. Simultaneously press the [ACT] button and the [<] button.
2. Use the [VALUE] knob to select “USB SETTING,” and press the [ENTER] button.
3. Use the [VALUE] knob to select “USB ADV DRIVER,” and press the [ENTER] button.
4. Use the [VALUE] knob to specify "OFF".
5. Press the [ENTER] button to return to Play mode.
