If you’re using Windows 10 or 11, the dedicated USB driver usually installs automatically when you connect the FANTOM-0 with a USB cable to a computer that’s connected to the Internet. When using the USB audio function, set the “USB Driver” to “VENDOR” before connecting the USB cable:
- Press the MENU button.
- Touch "SYSTEM" on the touch screen.
- Use the left knob under the screen to select the "GENERAL" tab on the left side of the screen.
- Touch "USB Driver" on the screen and use the dial to select "VENDOR" or "GENERIC."
- Press the WRITE button to save this setting, then power off and back on the FANTOM.
Follow the steps below if the USB driver does not install automatically.
- Check whether your computer is connected to the Internet.
- Turn on the FANTOM-0, and connect the instrument to your computer via USB.
- On your computer, click the Windows [Start] button and then click “Settings”.
- Click “Update and Security”, and then click “Check for updates”.
- Click “View optional updates” or “View all optional updates”.
- Click “Driver updates” to view the list of updates.
- Select the “Roland - MEDIA” check box from the list, and click “Download and install”.--This installs the driver.
