These extra parts are not needed or used with the newer MDS-COMPACT stand/rack that now ships with the TD-17KVX. You can either set these packages aside, or discard them.
You'll notice that each of the cymbal stands included with the MDS-COMPACT rack have a black stopper on top that's permanently attached. Simply mount the cymbal pad(s) directly onto the top of the stopper, then attach the round felt washer on top of the pad, and lastly the round nut - in that order.
If desired, you can use the included tie-wraps to tie the cables to the stands if desired.
