The GO:MIXER STUDIO includes a MIDI interface function. By connecting a computer or a mobile device (iOS and iPadOS are recommended) via USB, you can exchange MIDI data between that device and MIDI equipment connected to the MIDI connectors (IN and OUT).
For example, when connected as shown below, you can play the Aerophone Pro to trigger a MIDI sound source on a mobile device, and output the resulting sound from the LINE OUT jacks.
In this setup, if you connect a commercially available USB AC adaptor or a smartphone mobile battery to the POWER port, the GO:MIXER STUDIO can supply power to the mobile device connected to the USB port. See “Supplying power from a USB AC adaptor” and “Connecting to an iPad/iPhone” in the Owner’s Manual.
Note:
• Set the appropriate mode according to the USB connected device and the number of channels in use. For details on the setting procedure, refer to “USB settings” and “Setting the operation mode (USB driver)” in the Owner’s Manual.
• When using an Android device, refer to the related Q&A article “GO:MIXER STUDIO: Is Android supported?”.
• For information on supported connectors, cables, and USB AC adaptor specifications, also refer to “Connecting other devices” in the Owner’s Manual.
