If you cannot connect to the mobile version of BOSS TONE STUDIO for GX-1B, referred to below as “BTS”, check the following points.
Make sure the Bluetooth function on the GX-1B is turned on
The Bluetooth function on the GX-1B may be turned off at certain times, such as after performing a factory reset.
On the GX-1B, open the Bluetooth settings screen ([MENU] > Bluetooth), set “BT SW” to “ON”, and then connect to BTS. See the "Controlling the unit from a mobile device app" section in the GX-1B Reference Manual.
Make sure the GX-1B is not connected to the PC version of BTS
If the GX-1B is already connected to the PC version of BTS, the following message appears.
Close the PC version of BTS, then tap SCAN and connect to “GX-1 MIDI”.
Make sure the GX-1B is not connected to another mobile device
If the GX-1B is already connected to another mobile device, disconnect it on that device.
If you cannot disconnect the GX-1B from the mobile device, initialize the GX-1B by performing a factory reset, and then pair it with the desired mobile device.
If the PC version of BTS can be used via USB connection, it is recommended that you back up your data before performing a factory reset.
