The process to access and adjust the ALT TUNE (Alternate Tuning) feature in SY-1000 is as follows.
- Press the INST button
- Push either knob 2, 4 or 6. These are the edit buttons to access the instrument engine's deeper parameters.
- Turn knob 6 to highlight ALT TUNE
- Either push or turn knob 6 to engage the ALT TUNE function
- The bottom row of controls on the screen are controlling the ALT TUNE engine. Tuning type can give you a range of premade alternate tuning along with USER, which is a selection that allows you to virtually tune each string to any note desired.
