The following article guides through connecting a instrument or an effect unit to the Go:Mixer Pro X.
- Turn down the volume of the Go:Mixer Pro X's master volume completely counter-clockwise (off).
- Connect the Go:Mixer Pro X's USB port to the phone or iPad using the included USB cable.
- Connect the audio outputs of the instrument to the Go:Mixer Pro X's INSTRUMENT inputs:
- Connect headphones to the HEADPHONE/HEADSET port of the Go:Mixer Pro X:
- Turn up the output volume on the instrument or effect unit to about 75% as a good starting point.
- Adjust the Go:Mixer Pro X's instrument volume knob to 12 o'clock (pointing straight up).
- Begin playing the instrument and then slowly turn up the Go:Mixer Pro X's master volume knob until a desired volume is heard in the headphones that are connected to the Go:Mixer Pro X.
- If more volume is needed, raise the volume of the instrument/effect unit and/or the Go:Mixer Pro X's instrument knob.
Note: If the Go:Mixer Pro X's PEAK light remains illuminated when playing the instrument or effect, lower the instrument knob and/or the instrument/effect's output volume. The ideal setting would result in the PEAK indicator only illuminating when your performance is at its loudest. - Begin recording on the phone or iPad using an audio recording app.
- When playing back a recording, sound will be output of the headphones connected to the Go:Mixer Pro X.
